From mid April to mid-July hundreds of canoeists from Italy and Europe flock to Valsesia, 'the valley of watersports'!  Valsesia was the venue for the 2001 European championships of canoe and kayak and the world championships in 2002.

Valsesia Canoe Film Festival is held in May - films and documentaries of canoe-kayak trips to little and known places on the planet: journeys of exploration and adventure.  Discover the beautiful and unique world of river canoeing.
