The international film and literature festival is held each year in the village of Courmayeur, Italy. It focuses on noir films (crime story, suspense, thriller, horror, fantasy, spy story, whodunit...) and has attracted a cult following from around Europe and elsewhere.

The Cervino CineMountain Film Festival takes place in Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche every year, at the end of July. Located at 2000m, the festival has gained the title of the “Highest Festival in Europe.” The objective of Cervino CineMountain is to popularize, enhance and promote mountain films with over 50 screenings grouped into different themes.
Held during the summer months (July / August)

Established in 1992, Filmontagna is a travelling film festival dedicated to mountain cinema that takes place between July and August in different mountain locations in the region. The special formula of the Festival is a program that includes about twenty screenings on mountains and mountaineering which take place, each time, in a different context. The travelling cinema of Filmontagna moves within the regional geography, reaching villages, lakes, town squares, churches, auditoriums, etc.
Held during the summer months (July / August)

The FrontDoc festival was created in 2008 as a showcase of the Saison Culturelle dedicated to international documentary productions. It is a space where filmmakers from the Aosta Valley can exchange ideas and grow professionally. The FrontDoc festival pays tribute to the extraordinary growth of a form of art that is both objective and subjective; it is close to the people portrayed, but also to those watching the screen; it is respectful of the world, yet also the filtered perspective of a personal sensibility, of an imagination that permeates reality, becoming real in itself.
Held in the beginning of winter (November)

Stambecco d’Oro Festival was created in 1984.  It is one of the biggest International Nature Film Festivals and is among the three most important cinematic events in Aosta Valley region.
Held in the summer months (August)

"Strade del Cinema" is the international festival of silent film to music. It takes place in Aosta during the month of August and awards the best musical compositions designed to accompany the works indicated by the artistic direction. The Festival is divided into 6 sections, among which stand out: "Retrospective" - competition for young musicians in Europe - and "Big." The retrospective is a monograph dedicated to the greatest authors of the silent era, made of medium-length music by young composers and musicians from all over Europe.
Held in the summer months (August)
